Dr. Jill Freyne is an experienced industry leader, with extensive experience in in digital health innovation and healthcare system transformation.
Currently serving as the Healthcare Industry Lead at AWS, Jill plays a pivotal role in fostering partnerships and driving technology adoption to advance the digital transformation of Australia’s healthcare sector. With expertise in AI, Jill has a proven track record in leveraging technology to enhance patient outcomes, support clinical decision-making and improve healthcare efficiencies.
Previously Jill served as Deputy Chief Scientist at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, and as Deputy CEO of the Australian eHealth Research Centre where she gained extensive experience in innovation strategy, digital transformation and the translation of cutting-edge research into real world innovations.
In addition to her executive roles Jill is a member of the University of Southern Cross Council, she is the Deputy Chair of the NSW Smart Sensing Network. Through these positions, she supports research, education and innovation initiatives that drive meaningful advancements in technology.
