Since 2022, Ben has led the vendor team supporting Australia’s first Virtual Wound Care Command Centre with cutting-edge computer vision wound analysis software. The Wound Care Command Centre provides the patient’s primary carer with access to expert advice, and allows patients to contact their wound specialist at any time and from anywhere. In the first few months of operations, the service avoided 42 hospital admissions and reduced LOS by between three and five days.
Ben is an active member of the digital health industry, regularly speaking at conferences and engaging with opinion leaders to drive towards the adoption of virtual care at scale. He holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
