Chennai 2024 Study Tour – Post Tour Itineraries
Option 1 (7 days) – Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi:
Popularly known as Golden Triangle Tour, it presents the grandeur, glory and the history of India. The tour starts at Delhi the capital city of India and the cornerstone of the golden triangle tour. The must visit places are The India Gate, the new and the old Parliament, the seat of the government of India, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutab Minar, Jantar Mantar, Akshardham Temple and Humayun’s Tomb. Minimum two nights is recommended.
The next stop is Agra, a mediaeval city on the banks of river Yamuna and was founded by Sikandar Khan Lodi in 1504. Agra was the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1526 to 1648. Taj Mahal (one of the new 7 wonders of the world), Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all are UNESCO world heritage sites. Two nights’ stay is recommended.
From Agra we proceed to Jaipur, the capital city of the state of Rajasthan also known as Pink City. Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II. Must visit places are City Palace, Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal amongst others. Two nights stay is recommended.
After Jaipur the golden triangle tour comes to an end. We are homebound via Delhi where a night can be spent for ease of convenience of connecting to your flight out of the Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3.
Option 2 (4-5 days) Goa:
The coastal paradise Goa is not unknown to anyone. This tiny state in West India is one of the most popular tourist spots of India. It is famous for its beautiful beaches, great seafood, amazing nightlife and thrilling water sports.
Goa is divided into North Goa and South Goa. North Goa is mostly crowded for its lively beaches, viz., Calangute, Baga, Candolim, Anjuna, and Fort Aguada. South Goa on the other hand is quiet. South Goa has a few luxury resorts and St. Xavier’s Church and Se Cathedral amongst a few others as places of visit. Four nights stay is recommended.
Goa is well connected with Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.
Option 3 (5-7 days) Kerala (God’s own country):
The state of Kerala is a lush tropical paradise of historic towns, scenic coastlines all within the shadow of the Western Ghats Mountains. Experience the peaceful beauty of Kerala on 5-7 nights tour that showcases the best of this southern state. Explore the backwaters and learn about local life along India’s narrow canals and waterways. See the city of Kochi and tour the landmarks and attractions of Thekkady and backwaters of Kumarakom- enjoy Ayurveda – the Indian system of herbal medication.
A once-in-a–lifetime experience! Munnar a hill station and tea-gardens estate, see the waterfalls. Very few destinations in India are blessed with beautiful natural scenery, a unique culture, and unmatched experiences. Kerala is one such destination that is a treasure trove of bountiful offerings one can cherish while having a beautiful rendezvous with natural beauty. Minimum five nights is recommended.
